Appalachian盆地页岩油气勘探开发潜力评价

摘要: Appalachian盆地位于美国东北部,是美国石油工业的发源地,也是目前美国页岩油气资源勘探开发的主要盆地之一。其中泥盆系Marcellus页岩气区带目前已成为北美页岩气资源量最大的页岩气藏,也是北美多家石油公司页岩气资源勘探开发的主要焦点。文章分析了Appalachian盆地沉积构造演化、油气地质特点,重点解剖了盆地Oiho、Marcellus、Utica三套页岩油气区带的成藏特征,分析了三套页岩的厚度、有机质类型及丰度、成熟度、孔渗、裂缝的特征等参数以及成藏主控因素,并对未来勘探有利区和开发潜力进行了客观评价。

Abstract: Appalachian basin which is located in the North-eastern US is the origin of America's petroleum industry, and also one of major basins for shale-gas exploration. The Devonian Marcellus shale-gas becomes the biggest shale-gas reservoir in the North America, so it is the target for North America's oil companies. This paper analyzes its sedimentary and structural evolution, oil-gas geology, and focuses on Oiho, Marcellus and Utica zones in their reservoir formation from shale thickness, organic types and concentration, maturity, porosity, and fissures, and evaluates their potential for future exploration and development.
