Abstract: This paper discusses the industrial situation of China's chrome resource from resources and supply & demand, which is marked by a shortage of chrome resource, highlydependence on export, lack of longterm stable supply. This paper presents some workable strategies from investing foreign chrome mines, diversifying export channels through global cooperation, intensifying internal survey and exploration, comprehensively developing associated chrome resource and reducing waste, raising recovery of low grade ores, recycling the chromiumbearing wastes and setting up strategic reserve. This paper aims to offer reference for the healthy growth of China's chrome industry.
