Abstract: This paper clarifies the oil-gas scale and distribution in the former Soviet Union, which is of significance for China to cooperate in oil-gas exploration with neighbors. By using USGS and IHS data, this paper analyzes the reserve, exploration situation and potential of the major basins in the former Soviet Union. The oil is distributed mainly in the land, and the gas is mainly in the shallow water. However the deep water is of low level of prospecting, with undiscovered oil and gas amounting to 60 billion tons. The exploration degree varies with oilfields, generally, high in oil, middle in gas and low in condensate oil. Basins of middle exploration degree have great prospecting potential, good for exploration cooperation for Chinese companies.

摘要： 明确前苏联地区油气资源规模和分布特征，对我国加强与周边国家的能源合作具有重要的现实意义。利用美国地质调查局（USGS）和IHS数据库的资料，对前苏联主要地区的油气探明储量、勘探开发现状和待发现油气资源潜力进行了统计和分析。前苏联地区的原油储量主要分布在陆上，天然气主要分布在浅水区，而深水区油气勘探和开发程度还很低。待发现油气资源总量约为600亿t油当量。盆地油气资源的探明程度各不相同，整体上原油探明程度较高，天然气探明程度中等，凝析油探明程度较低。中等勘探程度的盆地，发现大油气田的前景较好，适合中国油公司进入并进行勘探合作。
