Magnesium is one of ten important non-ferrous metals, which recently has been extensively used in the manufactureof automobiles as a substitute of aluminum and steel. Mg alloy can decrease the weight of vehicles, and so to decrease the energy consumption. China produces lots of Mg metals, but with less application. This paper suggests to decrease the Mg production, to save dolomite resources, and to increase the application of Mg in vehicles.
