Liu Yi, Liu Hui-fang, Zhang Pei-qi
Resources & Industries    2016, 18 (1): 101-106.   DOI: 10.13776/j.cnki.resourcesindustries.20151230.004
Abstract7282)      PDF(pc) (1268KB)(19688)       Save
Trading promotes economy, and impacts on energy consumption structure as well in trading countries. Thanks to technical advance, the economic value produced by unit energy consumption has been improved. This paper uses the relative efficiency comparison to study the influence of the bilateral trading on economy and energy consumption. This paper applies DEACCR mode to measure the change in energy economy efficiency and energy environment efficiency in China and the UK, and analyzes the relationship between trade and energyeconomy relative efficiency by means of multiple regression. As the bilateral trading goes on, energy economy efficiency has been promoted with higher economic value of unit energy consumption, favorable for the sustainable development of the two countries. There is little influence on their energy environment efficiency, but it still needs to adjust and optimize the trading structure.

This paper, based on Chinese provincial industrial panel data 2000—2001, uses fixed effect model to analyze the FDI’s influence on total factor productivity (TFP) of Chinese domestic industry sectors. The current FDI promotes TFP, and so does the inventory FDI. Further study indicates that the influences vary among China’s 30 provinces, a positive promotion reach the zenith in the eastern provinces, then central provinces, and the western. This paper presents suggestions actively adopting FDI and making full use of it, appropriate supportive policies and science capital and talents into the western provinces can increase TFP of Chinese domestic industry sectors.

COAL RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT AND ECONOMIC GROWTH IN INNER MONGOLIA: A CASE STUDY ON “RESOURCE CURSE”
LIU Hui,MA Hongyun
Resources & Industries    2014, 16 (4): 77-82.
Abstract1083)      PDF(pc) (1397KB)(922)       Save
This paper, based on Inner Mongolia’s coal development and economy, verifies their relation by applying the “resource curse” hypothesis with the indexes of coal abundance, capital input, human capital input and scientific innovation from 1991 to 2010.The result doesn’t show an outstanding relation and there is no “resource curse”,but a fast GDP growth does not bring a same fast rise in residents’ income and living level, indicating weak sustainability in its economy.“Resource curse” needs to be prevented in the future.

DEVELOPMENT AND EFFECT OF SHALE GAS IN THE UNITED STATES
LIU Hui-fang, AN Hai-zhong, MEI Jie
Resources & Industries    2012, 14 (6): 81-87.
Abstract3621)      PDF(pc) (831KB)(1678)       Save

As a surging demand of oil and gas all over the world, shale gas and coal-bed methane as uncoventional energy can relieve the energy pressure. The United States, a pioneer in developing shale gas, has a top position in shale gas market. As shale gas has been largely discovered, the improving technology and maturing development and supportive policies stimulate the shale gas production in the United States, which guarantees the energy security, decreases the shale gas price and increases the employment, and changes the traditional framework of the world's gas market. Although there is a dispute in environment impact, the American's developing shale gas as an alternative energy drives a worldwide development.

This paper, via multiple linear regress analysis, studies the relation between Tailu lake water environment and GDP increase, gross industrial production, gross agricultural production in Wuxi city during 1987-2003, concludes that the Tailu lake environment is closely interrelated to population growth and industrial structural changes. The water pollution is chiefly derived from agricultural organic pollution, living water and industrial water-gas-solid wastes. This paper gives some suggestions to improve the Tailu lake water environment.
