This paper, based on the natural, social and economic conditions, by means of statistical analysis and comprehensive analysis, studies the regional distribution of farmland utilization graduation with the results indicating that the highland basin in central Yunnan is highest in utilization extent, following by valley basin in centralsouthern Yunnan, marginal valley basin in southern Yunnan, highland in northeastern Yunnan and mountain in northwestern Yunnan in turn.
