This paper reviews the global nitrate resources and development, discusses the nitrate in Xinjiang, and studies the development prospect of nitrate resources based on international and domestic markets, and presents some suggestions establishing new nitrogenous fertilizer base combined with nitrate resources, potash salt development and the development technology.
