Abstract:

The ten-year’s land consolidation has been largely concentrated on farmland consolidation. New period needs a wider fields for land consolidation to protect plowlands, improve the plowland quality and guarantee China’s foodstuff provision. The potential of land consolidation shall be focused on the rehabilitation of construction lands and disaster-destroyed lands, plowland quality, new countryside construction and urban-rural union. This paper summarizes some methods to widen the land consolidation, to enlarge the potential of land consolidation, providing a theoretical support for the sustainable development of land consolidation.
