Abstract:

Japan depends highly upon oversea metallic resources.Its success in exploration mechanism is of references to China. There are six major organs who organize the metallic resources exploration, including JOGMEC,which is wellorganized form under the other participants. Japan applies threestaged exploration model, regionally basic geology survey, detailed survey, mining companiesexploration and development, which form a well interaction among METI, JOGMEC and mining companies.This paper, based on China's situation in oversea metallic resource exploration, presents references through comparison with Japan's success in organization, exploration model and global strategy.
