Abstract:

Energy is a key point in an area, a country or even the world. This paper, based on the energy consumption structure and economic growth, applies the harmony theory, correction model and Granger causality method to studies the mutual relation between energy consumption and economic growth in Xinjiang, with the results indicating that the both has a long-term balance. One-way Granger causality exists between energy consumption and economic growth that energy consumption boosts economic growth, but economic growth does not enhance energy consumption.

摘要：

能源问题是一个地区、国家甚至全球所面临的重大问题，通过介绍新疆能源的消费结构与经济增长的现状，应用协整理论、误差修正模型和Granger因果关系检验等方法，实证分析新疆能源消费与经济增长之间的相互关系。结果表明，新疆的能源消费与经济增长之间存在着长期均衡关系；能源消费与经济增长之间只存在单向的Granger因果关系，即能源消费是经济增长的Granger原因，能源消费导致经济增长，经济增长却没有促进能源消费。
