Abstract: This paper aims to find the variation rules of overall cost of Americas all kinds of drilling in a short, middle and longterm by using API data. The overall drilling costs underwent three stages, rising and then falling before 1990, steady during 1990—1997, and a fast rising during 1998—2008. Oil wells costs are steadier than gas wells and dry wells, gas wells fluctuated most. Compared with land wells, oceanic wells costs have a big fluctuation with a poor predictability.

摘要： 以发现美国各类钻井总成本长期、中期、短期的变化规律为研究目的，采用美国石油协会（API）的数据报告对美国钻井成本进行分析，研究发现：1）研究期内，美国钻井总成本变化经历了3个阶段：1990年以前先增后减，1990—1997年平稳不变，1998—2008年快速上涨；2）各类钻井成本基本都经历了上述变化过程；3）油井钻井成本的变化比气井、干井更为稳定，而气井相反，其变化波动性最大；4）跟陆上井相比，海上钻井成本的波动性更大，可预测性更弱。
