The Communist Party presented an objective to establish a socialistic harmonious society at the 16.4^th conference, which demands a harmonious society in oilfields. It is also a requirement of oilfield enterprises to develop. This paper discusses the significance to realize the economic harmonious development in oilfields and presents some approaches to it.

Rural residential land consolidation is a main content of rural land consolidation, and plays an important role in new countryside construction. There are some problems during rural residential land consolidation like ownership adjustment, lack of capital, micro driving and post utilization, and poor management. A new creative mechanism shall be based on property right, diversified financing, profit distribution and interactive exchange in order to boost the sustainable development of rural residential land consolidation.
