This paper applies GREET model and WTW system to compare their energy consumption and pollution emission in a form of currency between the traditional petroleum and new energy vehicles (battery electrical, hybrid and fuel cell vehicles) during their entire life circles. On energy consumption, new energy vehicles save energy under similar energy structure and technical parameters. BEV is on the top in energy consumption with a decrease by 42% with the traditional petroleum vehicles. New energy vehicles chiefly contribute to carbon emission reduction, falling by 5.78% on hybrid, 32.86 on feul cell, and 21.54% on BEV compared to traditional, but with an increase by 35.36% on acid rain pollution emission. From the total costs, new energy vehicles are lower than the traditional except the BEV. Developing new energy vehicles, especially the BEV, is somewhat of more advantages than disadvantages, which may be improved as China's energy structure alters.

This paper uses input/output theory and structural decomposition to analyze the dynamic evolution and mechanism of energy consumption before and after financial crisis in Guangdong province. The reason in energy consumption increment in Guangzhou province mainly lies in economic growth and population size, and it had been slowing down after financial crisis due to a declining energy consumption intensity, adjusting final demand structure and improving producing structure. Internal exports are the major driving force contributes to the energy consumption increment, largely impacted by gross fixed assets and urban resident consumption after financial crisis. Input/output analysis reveals that domestic transfer in contributing to the gross energy consumption reduction is outstandingly less international imports.

This paper uses ESDA-GIS and spatial computing model to analyze the evolution and factors of coordinated development of urbanization, resource and environment among China's 26 provincial capitals and four municipalities in 2005, 2010 and 2015 with the results showing an uneven coupling coordination. Their coupling development displays a V-shape, falling and then rising, and has a spatial concentration. The spatial computing model reveals that GDP per capita and industrial GDP proportion contribute largely to their coordinated development, but percentage of environmental investment to GDP and college student headcount per 10 thousand do little.

Herdsmen rely on grassland, execution of grassland ecological compensation policy requires forbidding or pausing livestock farming, which will directly impact herdsman's income. Their desires on forbidding or pausing livestock farming also directly impact execution of policy and ecological restoration. The ecological compensation standard plays a direct part on herdsman's desire and income. This paper analyzes the influence mechanism of grassland ecological compensation standard on herdsman's income at a theoretical level, and establishes a system dynamical model to study Xilingele's case. Three different compensation standards are presented on different scenarios. The result shows a low grassland ecological compensation standard in Inner Mongolia, leading to a slow income increase and ecological retrogradation. Economy and ecology will get worsened if the compensation is decreased, and improve if increased, but herdsman's income will largely increase and grassland ecology will rise then fall at a upsidE-down U shape if the compensation is over increased. Change of grassland ecological compensation standard will directly and indirectly impact herdsman's income and further impact grassland ecological restoration.

A rational responsibility accounting and rights allocation of carbon emission for power industry to set up carbon emission rights market. In consideration of inter-province power transfer, this paper estimates their carbon emission responsibilities in China's 30 provinces from producers' responsibility, consumers' responsibility and mutual responsibility, and applies the estimation in mutual responsibility to the comprehensively weighted allocation model which is based on hereditary rule, equalitarianism and payable ability. The results show an outstanding difference in carbon emission responsibility among provincial power industries under different accounting methods that the producers is lower than consumers in eastern China, but higher in central to western China. The mutual responsibility balances the difference. Under the comprehensively weighted model, carbon emission in 8 provinces shall reach the peak during 2017 to 2020 and fall to the 2016 level. According to provincial power carbon emission rights allocation quota and carbon emission prediction in 2020, nine provinces in the eastern coast area and northwest are short of carbon emission rights in 2020, which need to trade carbon emission rights or take action in carbon reduction.

Carbon dioxide emission is closely related to economy. A rational measurement of carbon emission efficiency is a key step to low carbon economy. This paper uses random frontier model and core density estimation to analyze the panel data of industrial GDP, capital input, laboring input, energy input and industrial carbon dioxide emission in Jiangsu's cities during 2005 to 2015, and carbon dioxide emission performance based on the entire elements framework. Results show that the carbon dioxide emission performance varies as time and space with up to 48.2% in difference, central Jiangsu sitting at the top, and then southern and northern. Lianyungang city ranks the first in emission reduction. This paper presents suggestions on raising Jiangsu's industrial carbon dioxide emission performance from adjusting energy structure, increasing input on science and technology and boosting regional cooperation.

The Yangtze River Economic Zone is a model zone for regional development strategy and a model zone for ecological culture construction as well. This paper, based on 107 cities along the zone, uses the shift-share to analyze its industrial transfer trend and finds that the transfer mainly out of down-stream goes to the up-stream with core to non-core cities at an interactive transferring. This paper establishes a 2003-2016 panel data model which verifies that pollution comes with this transfer, varying at time and space. Industries with discharge as waste water and dusts are transferred, but ones with discharge as sulfide dioxide are not. After 2011 the environmental policies get tighten, effectively decreasing the discharge of waste gas and water, but increasing the dusts. Policies are suggested in accordance with local environment and industries, offering references for transferring orderly industries in the Yangtze River Economic Zone.

Supply chain financing grows fast and becomes a key path for small-to-medium enterprises' financing. This paper uses cash-cash flow sensitivity model to study if they are facing financing constraints or have been mitigated based on 74 light manufacturing companies listed in China's stock market with the results showing an outstanding financing constraint, which has yet been mitigated as supply chain financing develops. This conclusion verifies that supply chain management in China's gems & jewelry sector is lagging, deficient in basis for financing business. The big players are not willing to take the responsibility to support the small-to-medium ones. Suggestions are presented to use supply chain financing for China's gems & jewelry sector.
