After publication, all articles in “Resources and Industries” will be immediately and permanently available for readers to freely read and download on this website. Since 2022，the journal’s papers are published with immediate open access. Readers can access the “Current Issue” and “Archives” sections on the “Resources and Industries” official website. Through browsing the different journal issues, readers can search for specific articles, access individual paper pages, and download the articles in PDF format.
(1) User Rights
"Resources and Industries" employs the Creative Commons licensing model, specifically the Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives (CC BY-NC-ND) license. This license permits third-party users to share the published articles from the journal by copying, distributing, displaying, performing, broadcasting, or transmitting the content to the public. However, this sharing must retain the author’s attribution, be limited to non-commercial purposes, and not involve derivative works or modifications.
(2) Author Rights
Authors are required to possess undisputed copyright for the submitted manuscript and assume full responsibility for its content. Upon acceptance, authors are required to sign a “Copyright Transfer Agreement” with the editorial office. This agreement entails the transfer of the entire copyright, including accompanying works like figures and tables that can be licensed (including but not limited to reproduction rights, distribution rights, information network dissemination rights, translation rights, and compilation rights) to the journal. The licensing period extends throughout the legal protection period of the paper’s copyright, with a geographical scope covering worldwide usage. However, authors retain the right to share their articles under a Creative Commons license for academic purposes, such as archiving in institutional repositories. When exercising these rights under copyright law or transferring them to third parties, authors must not compromise the journal’s interests. If the article is compiled into other collections, it must be acknowledged as previously published in this journal, citing the publication year, volume, and issue. Authors agree to the use of the CC BY-NC-ND license for their article after publication.
(3) Editorial Office Rights
After acceptance, authors are required to sign a “Copyright Transfer Agreement” with the Editorial Office (please refer to the “Copyright Transfer Agreement” in the website’s “Download Center”). This agreement involves the transfer of the copyright of the manuscript to the Editorial Office of “Resources and Industries.” It encompasses adaptation rights, compilation rights, distribution rights, reproduction rights, translation rights, information network dissemination rights, performance rights, and other associated rights.
(4) Publication Fees and Remuneration
To ensure the regular publication of the journal, “Resources and Industries” charges publication fees. The journal employs color printing and charges at a rate of 300 RMB per page. If there are colorful figures in the paper, charges 500RBM to 1000RBM additionally, according to the number of pages. A one-time payment for the contribution will be made upon publication.
(5) Archiving Policy
The electronic version of the journal is archived (but not limited to) in China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) .
