    Study on HBO's economic connection can not only promote integrated construction and coordinated development of city group, but also help sustainable development of resource-based city group. This paper, based on a case study on HBO city group, uses social network method to establish HBO's economic connection network, and measures its network density, centrality, and inner condensation sub-group. Results reveal that their economic connection is increasingly close and complicated, not high in network density compared with developed city group. Their economic development is asymmetric and imbalanced, but inside city group direct connection among each member is steadily increasing, which may form condensation sub\|group out of locality limit. 

    Most resource-based cities are facing many issues which impact urban development during growing period, such as depleted resource and declining city, and worsening environmental pollution. Sustainable development of resource-based cities requires a green transformation. This paper, based on vast quantity of references, reviews each stage of urban transformation and sustainable development, studies the concept of resource-based city, developing stage, theoretical advances domestic and overseas, sets up and optimizes theoretical index system for resource-based cities and sustainable development. Quantitative analysis is the current research focus.

    Huai river basin has entered into green development dilemma with slowing down economy and severe environmental pollution. This paper, based on green development theory, discusses the features of this dilemma from ecological efficiency, and combined with development history and situation of Huai river basin, and studies theoretically the conducting mechanism. Malmquist index is used to measure its ecological efficiency. It is concluded that a low ecological efficiency contributes to the green development dilemma. Panel data model is applied to analyze the factors of low ecological efficiency. Resource industries play a critical role to others. Adjustment of single industry or some factors can not resolve the dilemma. Huai river basin should begin from laws, optimizing industrial structure and scientific talents, promote technical advances and increase ecological efficiency so as to resolve the green development dilemma.

    Effective control of land spatial development intensity can guarantee resource intensive use and ecological environment protection. This paper, based on Heibei's 148 county domain units, uses EDA, GIS and OLS model with geographic weighted regress model to analyze land development intensity factors, and to study its mechanism. A notable positive spatial self-correlation exist in county domain with convergence. LISA local self-correlation shows "point-zone-area" structure in the whole province. GDP per capita, population density, land cial expense, net debits of financial units and slope coefficient have positive influence on land development intensity, but land fixed asset investment, land industrial GDP above designated size, permanent general farmland area and distance to Bo Sea are negative. These factors vary in influence and sensitivity with regions. Geographic locality the first key factor directly influencing land development intensity, which is also driven by economical and social development level, and financial supports. Increment of construction land intensive use can slow down the fast rise of land development intensity. Agricultural protection controls effectively the direction and intensity. This study offers reference for Hebei in variably managing and controlling land development intensity and optimizing land spatial development pattern. 

    Land consolidation is a vital means in activating existing lands, intensively saving lands, compensating farmlands and improving land production. Study on its effect is meaningful to evaluate land consolidation projects. This paper uses ecological footprint model to measure and evaluate the ecological footprint and carrying capacity of newly-added farmlands during 2007-2017 land consolidation project. The ecological carrying capacity per capita of newly-added farmland in Tianshui in 2007 is 0.0006 hm^2, amounting to 0.09% of the gross, also 0.05% of the ecological deficit. In 2017, the number is 0.0012 hm^2, 0.16% of the gross and 0.10% of the ecological deficit, which might be increased by 0.10% if no land consolidation. The interactive change between newly-added farmland per capita and ecological carrying capacity shows a positive relation that the ecological carrying capacity per capita rises with newly-added farm land, which may mitigate Tianshui's ecological environmental pressure to some extent.

    Shale gas was first discovered in southeast Chongqing, where is also the key place for shale gas exploration. Formation of shale gas reservoir is controlled by shale thickness, organic matters concentration, thermal evolution, porosity and preservation. Southeast Chongqing hosts two major shale units of rich organic matters, Niutitang formation of lower Cambrian and Wufeng-Longmaxi formation of upper Ordovician-lower Silurian, both bearing thick sediments, high organic matters concentration, high thermal evolution, especially in Wufeng-Longmaxi formation with favorable geology for potential economic shale gas, also in upper Proterozoic Doushantou formation, Permian Changxing formation, Longtan formatin (Wujiaping formation), and lower Silurian Shiniulan formation (Songkan formation), where shall be a good exploration target of shale gas. 

    To understand the vulnerability of Daqing's urbanization, this paper, based on its connotation of vulnerability and Daqing's situation, established an evaluation index system from destabilization intensity, sensitivity, adaptability and measures, uses normal cloud evaluation model to measure the vulnerability of Daqing's urbanization during 1995-2015 with results showing an improving urbanization, the overall vulnerability declines to medium from high. Four standard levels also fall in vulnerability class. Destabilization intensity vulnerability declines steadily and sensitivity vulnerability also declines but fluctuates since 2008. Adaptability increases slowly with its vulnerability descends to medium from relatively high, a principal factor in limiting Daqing's urbanization development. Economic transformation brings boosts adaptability, but its basis needs to be stabilized, fluctuating since 2009. In general, Daqing's urbanization is of relatively high vulnerability, which demands a higher adaptability and measures. 

    This paper, based on Guangzhou's statistic data of productive services and manufacturing in 2010 to 2016, uses gray correlation model to measure the their correlation extents and rankings of different industries of productive services and manufacturing. The results show that information services, research & design and other technical services, and financing service are outstandingly correlated with manufacturing, while power saving and environmental protection, productive lease and commercial services are of low correlation. It is suggested that Guangzhou should abide by the direction of integrated productive services and manufacturing to achieve strong manufacturing city.

    Ecological civilization is a necessary demand of human's economy and society developing forward, and a prerequisite for sustainable development. Resource environmental carrying capacity is an important basis for ecological evaluation. Scientific research on regional ecological carrying capacity helps improve the accuracy in ecological civilization evaluation. Driven by new development concepts recently, ecological civilization construction becomes a priority, demanding an objective comprehensive evaluation, which becomes a guideline for ecological construction. Resource ecological research which combines with resource environmental carrying capacity, ecological civilization evaluation and regional eco-social development will a leading direction.

    Managing abandoned mine geological environment and land resource rehabilitation is a big issue during late mining period. If not well handled, it may impact the local ecological environment and ecological civilization construction. Managing mode shall be made upon the mining methods. This paper discusses the managing modes of open pits and underground mines based on their mining features, geology, and comprehensive managing principals. Based on a case study on Gan county's abandoned REE mines, managing abandoned mine geological environment is of importance and feasibility.

    This paper, aiming at the factors of price fluctuation of rare sources in foreign trade, presents a method under many constraints, establishes a price fluctuation correlated network of rare resource in foreign trade, which is used to analyze the complexity of price fluctuation from non-dimensional, coefficient, and joints. Combined with vector self\|regress model, vector error correction model and normalized least\|square regress, a model is set up to analyze the factors of price fluctuation of rare resource in foreign trade with results showing that real GDP and real trading amount are the primary factors, and US dollar index, gold price, gambling proportion are secondary.

    This paper is focusing on the coupling coordinated development relation between the upstream and downstream industries within mineral resources, establishes coupling coordinated model which is used to analyze mining and processing coupling coordinated development level based on energy, ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals and industrial minerals, in order to discuss the variance and evolution of coupling coordinated relation of mineral resource industry in Henan province, with the resulting showing an S-shaped coupling coordinated degree, coordinated index rising to 0.623 in 2016 from 0.23 in 1999, low but slow-rising during 1999 to 2004, low but fast\|rising during 2005 to 2007, indicating a consistent coordination, high during 2008-2016, implying a stable coordination. 
